Bleeding in Early Pregnancy

I think it is very important to qualify exactly what bleeding in early pregnancy actually is. Some women experience slight spotting, whilst others complain of full on heavy bleeding, whilst one is often harmless the other can be a little more serious. This article speaks about the more serious side of bleeding in early pregnancy.

This is very important, if you experience any form of heavy bleeding at any stage of pregnancy, we urge you to seek immediate medical advice. It maybe possible that you experience bleeding and assume it is part of your regular cycle because you are yet to confirm a pregnancy, in these situations it is often to connect the bleeding to being pregnant, so if you have any suspicions we urge you to address them.

Bleeding in early pregnancy is most often associated with miscarriage. If this is the first time that you have been pregnant, there is no doubt that any type of bleeding will be a worry to you. If you've been pregnant before or even experienced a miscarriage before, you will find that your medical team will want to keep a much closer eye on you throughout your pregnancy. In some cases this will involve extended stays in hospital for observation.

Of course, the nature of this article is not to be alarmist. However, when it comes to your health and the health of your unborn baby there is little point in taking risks. Do not think (as we have seen so often before) that you are wasting anyone's time. The moral of this story is that it is better to be safe than sorry when it comes to bleeding in early pregnancy.
