If you are carrying twins, then your weight can easily increase over forty-five pounds due to the presence of more than one child in your womb. On the other side, premature births or low birth weights will result in less weight being gained during pregnancy.
During this phase of your life, it is vital to maintain a balanced diet. Dieting is not recommended for any expectant mother. It is important to eat a wide variety of healthy food that will provide nutrition to your growing baby. This will ensure that you gain a proper amount of weight during pregnancy, and will actually make it easier to lose the weight after your pregnancy ends.
