Green Tea and Fertility
Green tea is believed to provide many health benefits to all who consume the eastern beverage, but what is its role in fertility and why do some people believe green tea and fertility go hand in hand?
Unfortunately old wives tales and myths are ripe within the field of pregnancy - usually it's an irresponsible publisher in the alternative health arena who hasn't done their research properly when looking up the health benefits of drinking green tea.
The fact is green tea and fertility have no link whatsoever. Green tea cannot increase the chance of fertility in a woman nor is it a magic cure for couples trying to conceive.
We felt we had to publish this because many desperate couples will try anything despite how silly it sounds, and the wrong knowledge can be dangerous (although drinking green tea is not by any means dangerous in moderation), therefore we felt it right to put the record straight on green tea and fertility.
There is however many other thinks women can do to increase their chances of fertility, and we urge you to take a look at our fertility section for more information on fertility.
