Fertility Hormones

Planning to get pregnant sometimes requires more than patience when infertility is the cause of not conceiving after a reasonable time of having sexual intercourse while following all of your doctor's recommendations. Fortunately, a treatment with fertility hormones may help you achieve the cherished goal of motherhood.

Infertility can be the result of endometriosis or a number of different female or male problems that usually can be treated medically or naturally. There are also external contributing factors, including the use of birth control pills. However, once a woman stops using contraceptives, the body produces fertility hormones after a while.

Amazingly, environmental estrogen is common in foods and may cause infertility and/or other hormonal imbalances, such as the excessive production of estrogens and others chemicals produced by the body and relative to progesterone. Food rich in estrogens interfere with anovulation, causing the failure to ovulate.

Fertility hormones help to recover the ovulation ability of the female reproduction system and also to normalize hormonal imbalances. According to the Canadian Medical Association Home Medical Encyclopedia, "anovulation is the most common cause for female infertility. Failure to ovulate often occurs for no obvious reason. It can be caused by a hormonal imbalance, stress or a disorder of the ovary such as a tumor or cyst".

Research from the Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility (CRMI) of New York shows that acupuncture has numerous fertility benefits to women suffering from infertility. Although skeptics may find many other biological explanations to the potential boosting of pregnancy after this type of therapy, the ancient Chinese practice combined with fertility hormones is a more friendly infertility treatment.
