Irregular Periods

When a woman is trying to get pregnant and knows about the importance of having sexual intercourse in the days when ovulation occurs, her major concern comes from irregular periods, due to the problems in determining the ovulation cycle and the ability to get pregnant.

Because the menstrual cycle varies from woman to woman, irregular cycles also vary in length from month to month, although cycle intervals generally occur every 4 weeks, ranging from 24 to 35 days. If you are having irregular periods, it is normal if they occur for 2 or 3 months.

Although irregular periods which last over several months require a medical examination to determine if there is something wrong with your menstrual cycle, and sometimes the leading factors to infertility, in fact, fertility drugs are prescribed to normalize your menstruation and increase the number of ovulation periods.

Women with irregular periods that have the desire to get pregnant may try a natural approach with herbal remedies and natural therapies. Alternative medicine is an option when fertility drugs cannot be used due to other conditions causing irregular periods, including diabetes, abnormalities of the thyroid, pituitary or adrenal glands and defects on the ovaries.

Irregular periods are the leading cause of about 30% to 40% of all the cases of infertility because of the problems caused to determine the ovulation cycle when trying to get pregnant. However, you can learn to find other signs that determine the moment when you are fertile.

Charting your cervical fluid is one of those alternatives to discover your window of fertility when you are suffering from irregular periods, time after time.
