How Do You Know When You Are in Ovulation

Every woman who wants to get pregnant should understand that under normal conditions ovulation occurs every month, being the time when her plans to conceive must take place. If you are asking yourself how do you know when you are in ovulation, keep reading to find out the answer.

Ovulation occurs when one of the eggs in your reproductive system is released from the ovaries, and travels down through your fallopian tubes. When ovulation occurs, most women experience subtle physical signs that they should be aware of, because at that point a short fertility window is opened allowing conception.

One of the ways on how to know when you are in ovulation is by keeping a record of your menstrual cycle. Ovulation occurs about mid-cycle between days 12 to 14 in women with regular cycles of 28 days. Determining the day that you ovulate is useful for getting pregnant or avoiding pregnancy.

While most women wait for the ovulation date to have planned sexual intercourse with their partners, other women take this day as a reference to avoid sexual activities, sometimes with the aid of ovulation kits which allows you to know the exact moment when you ovulate.

In the way, you use what you know about your ovulation cycle and apply this knowledge to your goals; you will be able to continue with your plans to conceive a baby during those days. Take your temperature in the morning, before getting out of bed and every time you use the bathroom.
