Getting Pregnant Right after a Miscarriage
Is it even possible to get pregnant right after a miscarriage? The answer is yes, almost certainly. Unless, there has been some physical damage caused by the original miscarriage, there is no reason at all why you should not be able to get pregnant again.
Of course, this also depends on your age and physical fitness. If you are more mature, the chances of a miscarriage are greatly increased. This does not mean that you can not successfully have a baby at a later stage in your life, it just means that you will most likely be monitored a lot closer during every stage of your pregnancy, you should also be prepared to spend some time in hospital under observation.
One of the problems with a miscarriage is the emotional affects, not just for the mother but also the father as well. People deal with loss in different ways, so it is important to recognize that there has definitely been a loss and work out how you both will come to terms with it. It maybe possible that one of you decides that they are put off with the idea of becoming pregnant again, rather than risk something similar happening again.
Once you have had a chat with your partner and you both feel ready again, there is no reason you should not begin trying for a baby again. It may be difficult to put a miscarriage out of your mind completely, and actually there is no reason why you should. So take your time, relax and enjoy each others company first, getting pregnant right after a miscarriage depends on this bond.
