Picking Up On Early Pregnancy Symptoms
Many women speak about the different early pregnancy symptoms, more often than not these are common physical symptoms, including missed period, swollen breasts, sickness and other more general signs of pregnancy. Some women describe a sensation that they know the second that they conceive, they are pregnant. They do not require any early pregnancy symptoms to inform them, they already know.
How is this so? Are these women just saying this, based on the hope that they had become pregnant, then found in hindsight that they actually were? We've all done something similar, you bump into an old friend you've not seen for a while, yet you were actually thinking about them a few days ago. Is this a coincidence or a chance encounter? Is our brain able to make these types of links? Perhaps it is possible that our thought process is also one of the early pregnancy symptoms.
Clearly, not all women experience this immediate feeling of becoming pregnant. For many, the first time they think they might be pregnant is when their period is late, regardless of all of the other early pregnancy symptoms they might have. Yet, there is enough anecdotal evidence to suggest that there is something in the phenomenon of some women knowing they are pregnant, the very second they conceive.
The author of this article is open minded, unfortunately they do not possess the experience and knowledge to even pretend to understand why some women experience this feeling and others don't. Maybe our brain sends the same early pregnancy symptoms to all of us, yet only a few pick up on it. For those that miss the message, more physical early pregnancy symptoms are produced until your brain finally accepts the condition of pregnancy.
Whatever your early pregnancy symptoms are, the end game is the same. You're pregnant and if all goes to plan, you will be having a new baby or a lovely addition to your family. You will be spending a good amount of your time visiting medical professionals over the period of the next 8 months. You will also need to make some decisions about the type of birth you want to have and the location of the birth.
For some women, the early pregnancy symptoms play an important factor in what decisions they make regarding the labor and delivery. If the early signs of pregnancy are complicated and cause reason to worry, it is more likely that they will want to consider a hospital birth or birthing center. On the other hand, if the early pregnancy symptoms are relatively straight forward, they may be relaxed and confident enough to consider a home birth or a natural birth.
Early pregnancy symptoms are different for all of us, some will have more physical signs than others, while some may have more emotional signs. There are also certain changes that we all experience, these are natural changes and need to happen in order for our bodies to ready itself for pregnancy. Whichever early pregnancy symptoms you have or have had, we wish you every success with your pregnancy.
