Headaches during Pregnancy

Many women experience headaches during pregnancy and they range from mild headaches in the early stages of pregnancy up to quite severe headaches that can become intolerable. The culprit is your changing body while you are going through the hormonal changes during pregnancy and unfortunately you will suffer in a myriad of ways due to these changes, headaches being one of the more common ailments.

Due to the nature of headaches you may wish to take medication to alleviate your pain but you shouldn't do this until first speaking to your physician or doctor. You don't want to put drugs in to your body that may harm your baby, so find out from your doctor which treatments you are ok to take for headaches during pregnancy.

Taking a lot of rest may reduce your headaches along with eating regular and a proper balanced pregnancy diet. Taking a stroll in the garden late on an evening when the air in fresh can also help alleviate headaches during pregnancy and it's very relaxing.

Headaches during pregnancy usually come on as an early symptom of pregnancy and will generally go away after a few weeks or months. If you are concerned you should speak to your doctor. Remember to avoid over the counter medication and speak to your doctor about your concerns.
