Pelvic Pain during Pregnancy
Pregnancy isn't without its pain, and pelvic pain during pregnancy effects many women mostly in the last few months and stages of pregnancy. We have read some awful stories from some of our readers about the pelvic pain they suffered during pregnancy and we're astonished at how some were treated by their doctors - in one case the doctor didn't even know pelvic pain was associated with pregnancy.
Luckily these cases are rare and if you are suffering from pelvic pain during pregnancy then you should seek immediate medical advice from your doctor who will be in a position to both diagnose whether your pelvic pain is serious and what you can do to alleviate the symptoms.
Relaxation and being aware of your own body can help a great deal to reducing any pain you are experiencing during pregnancy. Warm baths can alleviate pelvic pain during pregnancy and making sure when you are moving about that you aren't making sudden movements or sitting and lying in awkward positions will help.
Many women have found their own way of treating their pelvic pain during pregnancy and some recommend acupuncture as a viable option for pregnant moms - it won't have the child and although it's seen as an alternative treatment it is extremely safe.
