Pregnancy Symptoms

Pregnancy Symptoms ArriveUsually most pregnancy symptoms are physical. This is your body's way of letting you know that you're in for some big changes in your life. These are the early warning signs; your body is helping to prepare you for the very important months that lie ahead. You should try not to feel too anxious at this stage; try to keep relaxed and healthy.

At this stage, it is worth pointing out not all women are the same; each of us will experience things differently. This page is to give you an overview of what you could expect or what commonly occurs. Do not worry; it's very rare that women experience all of the pregnancy symptoms we describe below.

Perhaps you have found this page because you already have inkling you could be pregnant? This is an entirely natural feeling; our brain is a wonderfully complicated device, controlling our body and its functions to give out vital signs at the right time. Pregnancy symptoms are just signals from our brain, suggesting that we get ourselves ready, or visit a Doctor.

Before we go into the physical signs of pregnancy symptoms, please remember that if you think you are pregnant it is important to have this confirmed as soon as possible. You can take the first step yourself by buying a pregnancy kit, although ultimately you will need to visit a doctor for final confirmation.

One of the most common early signs of pregnancy is a missed period. Although, in some cases women have reported that they continue to bleed, however this will be slightly different than normal, so you would certainly notice the difference and heed the sign. It's also possible that you will need to go to the toilet more often; this is due to the increase in size of your uterus, causing it to press up against your bladder.

A common pregnancy symptoms is the feeling of sickness in the mornings, or as most people refer to it; morning sickness. If you continue to feel nauseated, seek medical help in order to control it. A medical professional will also be able to advise you on which meals you should avoid.

In a recent poll of women that discussed the very early symptoms of pregnancy, the most frustrating symptom by far was that they felt constantly exhausted. Fatigue in the early stages of pregnancy is normal; again it is your body preparing you for the next few months and getting used to the changes. Don't worry; you will not always feel like this, your energy levels will return to normal, in fact you may actually experience an increase in energy levels as you get closer to the big day.

Other pregnancy symptoms may include changes to your discharge. This again, is your body hard at work preparing itself to keep the baby safe. It is perfectly normal, however if you start to have uncomfortable feelings down below, itchiness or a smell, we recommend that you consult a Doctor, as it is possible you might have contracted an infection.
