One of the first physical signs of pregnancy will be changes to your breast area. This includes the feeling of tenderness when touched, as though they are swollen. Many women experience these changes just before their period, yet the change in breast shape and size when pregnant is more recognizable. You might also notice that the area around your nipples will darken in color and also show small dimples or lumps.
When we become pregnant, there is an increase in the amount of hormones and chemicals found in our body. One of the side affects of this is that headaches are more common. Whilst we all experience headaches at different times, its likely that we would not necessarily consider it as one of the first signs of pregnancy. Headaches is definitely one to look out for, especially if you're feeling sick at the same time.
Most of the first signs of pregnancy are physical, you'll notice a physical side affect to the increased number of hormones and chemicals racing about inside of your body. At first it maybe quite worrying and you may become anxious. As a result, it is important to mention the possible emotional first signs of pregnancy. These might include fear, worry or confusion, if you start to feel like this, it is important that you discuss it with your partner or doctor.
