It's really true, if you show signs of pregnancy, your friends will just not be able to wait to start planning that baby shower to remember.

It is thought that the mother to be has enough on her plate dealing with the early signs of pregnancy, so it is common that a close friend or a family member arrange the shower party. Usually, they are planned for the latter stages of pregnancy and will include people giving gifts or money that will help the expectant mother during the early days of motherhood.

Often, it will be female guests only who are invited to a baby shower. However, this does not mean that men are completely ignored. In fact, many men enjoy the occasion as much as their partners and look forward to this tradition as one of the early signs of pregnancy.

One of the other signs of pregnancy is the debate about the nursery, many people feel that it is bad luck to buy baby things to soon before the big day. Many also feel superstitious about choosing the color of the nursery without knowing the sex of the child.
