Pregnancy by Week

Expectant parents often want to know as much as possible about the pregnancy process. After all, the baby will develop different senses and body parts at different periods of his or her conception in the womb, and knowing the best way to encourage and stimulate such growth is a good way of ensuring a healthy child upon birth. Many different charts are available that map out pregnancy periods and what to expect week by week. These charts are helpful for several reasons.

For one thing, a woman's body is guaranteed to change in several ways during the long period of pregnancy. Not knowing what is going on can scare and confuse an expectant mother, and using the charts to determine which sort of physical changes to expect can save many trips to the doctor that are not actually needed.

Using these charts will also let you know what state your baby is in and where they are growing. The charts and descriptions will let you know exactly how your baby is developing and how he or she is obtaining oxygen and other necessary fluids to survive in the womb.

These week by week expectations also help doctors determine whether or not a baby is coming along as he or she should. They can notice possible problems and address them before they become too big of an issue. This is very important to any parent who wants nothing but the best for their child.

Using charts which breakdown pregnancy by individual weeks are a good way of keeping informed on exactly what is going on with every aspect of an unborn child.
